That meant a great liberation celebration for the majority of the South African population and the party became worldwide meegevierd. A small minority of sulking racist Apartheid Trailers lagged. In South Africa, but also in the Netherlands.

Who would have expected that after free elections, the presidency of Mandela and the successes of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (1) twenty years later would still supporters of apartheid was about time the laughter of many. Yet, there are still fans of Apartheid to be. And not only in the depths of our society.

But to tackle that last statement directly: in those caves naturally happens also some. For example, in the circles of the "Very-Dutch action group Post '.
For Post has traditionally had a keen interest in the Apartheid State of South Africa. In the seventies and eighties the racist regime wholeheartedly supported with propaganda campaigns and for example the import of products produced by white South Africans. Even in the hopeless rearguard action after the release of Nelson Mandela thought people Voorpost circles mean that the tide could be turned. There are in 1994 been serious plans to fight in South Africa to keep the white minority regime in power. Before attempting to recruit in the Dutch and Flemish grassroots people under the name 'Henri Slegt Camp Volunteer Corps'. But initiatives from the neo-Nazi Afrikaner Resistance Movement (AWB) to unleash a civil war failed miserably when some AWB officers killed in battles. Moreover Voorpost initiative proved to be infiltrated by the security. Then quickly became nothing more was heard of it Voorpost affiliated project to fight in South Africa. No known For Posters are also hit actually involved in the fighting in South Africa.

Meanwhile, the tide was unstoppable. Ran the transition from racist state to democratic society, mainly thanks to the conciliatory attitude of Nelson Mandela, relatively smooth and nonviolent. But not according to Outpost, that in later years one vindictive action continued to pursue after another. When the same Mandela 1999 a rare honorary degree was awarded by the University of Leiden were first posters stuck to his arrival in the city. On the day itself jumped two Outpost activists, Tim Mudde En Jan Koevoet, by deposits with a banner 'Mandela Killer'. Both are gearresteerd. And with this kind of actions they actually goes through to the present day. In 2011 demonstrated for Posters at the South African embassy against anti-white racism and disturbed Outpost an annual Mandela lecture in the council chamber of the Hague. The latter action yelled Voorpost activist Sjors Remmerswaal the audience that there is too little attention to racism in South Africa that is directed against whites. And more recently disturbed some Voorpost activists the unveiling of a statue of Nelson Mandela. In the presence of the aged Bishop Desmond Tutu threw some Voopost activists with smoke bombs, threw leaflets and shouted slogans.

Also from a different group from the depths of life to hear such sounds: the Dutch and Flemish people belonging to the network of the Flemish New Solidaris Tisch Alternative (N-SA). That group has maintained 2010 contacts with racist South Africans and regularly organizes meetings and events with South African issues. So they called in 2010 for a boycott of the World Cup in South Africa tewrijl they waved flags of the neo-Nazi Afrikaner Resistance Movement and was in November 2011 a charity evening organized in Antwerp, where the Dutch far-right singer Henri Adriaan gave a performance. Eind 2012 organized Dutch and Flemish supporters of N-SA, including Eindhovenaar Jeffrey Mathijsen, a manifestation of the Hague Peace Palace. In the pouring rain they protested, accompanied by a few South Africans, against anti-white racism in South Africa.

In the case of Outpost and the N-SA involves far-right groups, for whom the support of the South African racists but one of many agenda items. At the time of apartheid existed in the Netherlands also several groups that were exclusively with the support of the South African regime engaged. The largest and most important of these organizations was the Dutch South African Werkgemeenschap (NZAW). That was in the eighties, a reasonably successful reservoir of right, very right-wing and right-wing supporters of the apartheid regime. This allowed prominent right-wing extremists are members, while MPs CDA, VVD and the small Christian party talks held on NZAW meetings (2). The NZAW conducted in the Netherlands mainly action against several boycott actions and pleaded for understanding for the need in their eyes Apartheid regime. After the democratic revolution has NZAW, however, more or less recovered data. That's good to see the custom target, see pictures below 1989 (for the release of Mandela) en 1999 (after the release and elections).

First there was talk of creating understanding within the NZAW for "society policy ', which meant segregation forced in practice, now involves the association mainly to take the knowledge of African culture and language. But this radical turn has not anyone made within the NZAW. An important NZAW member Marcel Bas from Voorschoten. Marcel Bas was in the 90 years of the board of the NZAW youth and self NZAW. In addition, Bass became involved in Outpost circles . Those two interests he managed to combine a long time together. He was for example contact South Africa for at Outpost affiliated student. He also held recently, in 2010 NZAW a speech on behalf of the South Africa at Outpost in The Hague.

Another recent activity Marcel Bas is his involvement in the Orania Movement. Orania is a South African village set up after the release of Nelson Mandela. In that village is trying to apartheid in a sense to run. With the democratic changes was clear that the ability to banish black South Africans from key areas in South Africa came to an end. The founders of Orania could put the black population not behind barbed wire, itself did not live under an ANC government and chose to live in a self-ranging pure white community. the ultimate goal is to get a part in the hands of South Africa for this purpose. But a lot of territorial expansion has been no. The town still exists to this day and is still ideologically founded on racist principles.

In 2006 Marcel Bass visited the town for the first time, just after he had received a Orania delegation in Netherlands. In 2010 Marcel Bas again organized a visit of Orania representatives in Netherlands. That still had little success. The meetings were mainly attended by friends and Marcel Bass Outpost supporters.

In a third visit in 2013 Orania residents laugh that however else. representatives of Orania were open poor received by delegations from the Freedom Party and the Libertarian Party.
The PVV delegation of Martin Bosma, Raymond de Roon and Harm Beertema received Orania delegation in the parliament building. There, among other things discussed further cooperation. The Orania delegation wrote afterwards very satisfied (very satisfied) to be.
A day earlier the Libertarian Party a meeting with speakers from Orania.

Receipt by the PVV incidentally did not come as a big surprise. The PVV made himself already worried about the white population in South Africa. Raymond de Roon asked the Foreign Minister end 2012 to urge South Africa to better protect the Afrikaners. PVV MP Martin Bosma also spoke earlier in Het Parool outraged at the end of Apartheid: ‘Too bad Netherlands left the ANC has helped to power. Afrikaans and the Afrikaner people are likely to be destroyed. Thank You, Ed van Thijn, for your selfless idealism.’ Bosma visited last year itself South Africa. However, he was not welcome at an important organization that defends the Afrikaner language. A problem for Martin Bosma turned out to be possible that not only white South Africans who speak language, but also many South African Muslims. And who were not waiting for the PVV.

Believed the sympathy of right-wing Dutch for the Apartheid Idea still just stand. Even though it is in practice as good as twenty years dead and buried. You would not expect someone to finally have the ideas of the Third Reich state. And that remains in these circles also as popular.
